Tufts Observer
Optimizing layout and typography for a seamless magazine reading experience.
The Observer has been Tufts’ weekly publication of record since 1895. Our dedication to in-depth reporting, journalistic innovation, and honest dialog has remained intact for over a century. The Observer aims to use journalism, art, and creative writing as a mechanism to tell stories often untold. We use our platform on Tufts’ campus to uplift marginalized voices, hold institutions accountable, and showcase student work. The Observer intends to use journalism as a space for advocacy, community, and expression.
